The Walnut Branch
The Walnut Branch is a magazine that includes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, visual art, and more. It was created by Walnut Street Publishing, a company local to Chattanooga which celebrates new and emerging artists. My nonfiction piece Our Distant Lands was published in the second volume of the magazine. It was released on August 2nd, 2024, in conjunction with the grand opening of Walnut Street Publishing’s physical location at Clearstory Arts. You can purchase the journal online here.
Four photographs, which I included with my submission, were also published alongside this work. I took these photos on a trip to Japan in July and August of 2023.
